Highlights of our lawyers’ experience in investor-State disputes include:
representing Bangladeshi government entities against a Canadian company in two related ICSID (World Bank) case arising out of disputes related to the supply of gas and the liability for explosion caused by drilling operations in gas fields in Bangladesh;
representing Bangladesh against a US energy company in an ICSID (World Bank) case arising out of a dispute related to the interpretation of a contractual term of a production sharing contract (PSC); and
representing Bangladesh government entity, against a US solar power producer, in an ICC arbitration case arising out of a dispute regarding the impact of the Rohingya crisis on the force majeure provisions of a contract.
